About Us

The Davis Senior High School Advanced Treble Choir (ATC) is an auditioned choir of treble voices that has represented Davis High School for 10 years. The choir performs a variety of a cappella and accompanied music dating from the 15th Century to present times. The Davis High ATC is frequently asked to sing each year for various public and private events.

Davis ATC has performed throughout the United States Canada, and Europe. In 2006, the choir was selected to compete in the Women’s Choir category of the prestigious Eisteddfod Competition in Llangollen, Wales. In 2008, they were selected to give a concert at St. John the Divine in New York. ATC performed at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and cathedrals in Monaco and Nice in 2009. In addition, they were selected by Maria Shriver to give a performance at the Women in History Conference. In 2011, ATC performed for the California Hall of Fame with inductees including Betty White, Barbara Streisand, James Cameron, Mark Zuckerberg, and others.

Recently, The Davis High School ATC returned from a tour of cathedrals in Montreal and Quebec. They had the privilege of working with Dr. Beth Willer, conductor Harvard University and Dr.
Andre deQuadros, conductor Boston University.

The Davis High Advanced Treble Choir has worked with world-renowned composers and conductors including: Dr. EugeneSirotkine (Asst. Conductor, Metropolitan Opera), Eric Whitacre (Composer), Stephen Schwartz (Composer), Randall Stroope (Composer), Jack Goodwin (Conductor, NYU), Dr. Harold Rosenbaum (Conductor, Julliard), Dr. Andre DeQuadros (Boston University), Dr. Iris Levine (Cal Poly Pomona).

Many of the most treasured experiences for the Advanced Treble Choir singers, however, have been through their efforts in community outreach through performances and workshops in Davis schools, hospitals, and charities. ATC cooks, serves, and performs on a monthly basis at 4th & Hope, serving over 100 people.
